James: puns. All the puns. At the most unnecessary times greeted with groans and occasionally pillows flying at his face. Calls himself James Punner. Always followed by a cheesy grin and many "get it?"'s
Remus: sarcastic one liners under his breath. Usually during class in response to a stupid remark from the teacher or a fellow classmate.
Sirius: morbid jokes, poker face. Tacks them onto someone else's irrelevant comment. After a few seconds, he leads the laughter.
Peter: doesn't exactly tell jokes, but sets them up for one of his friends to take home. Sometimes intentionally, sometimes not. He gets a slap on the back while they laugh at the punchline that was not his.
This is @sebastianfucker making a post on the bahalf of Sophiaa. her situation is dire; she is on the verge of homelessness. She has been in and out of the psych hospital over the past couple months and the good news is she is finally leveling out. The bad news is she has nowhere to go. She is about to get kicked out of the place she is staying, and she is going to be living on the streets, off her meds for not only her mental health, but also lifesaving medication for her lungs. Living outside without these meds could literally kill her.
She found a room for rent for fairly cheap near her brother, who is supportive of her and will help her find a job. But first she has to get there. She needs a 200 dollar deposit, 200 rent, and more for medication, food, and utilities. If you can, please help her. I am terrified she isn’t going to make it, and I have no money to help her and nowhere for her to stay.
Any amount will help. Anything at all, just please, help save her from this if you can. She needs it and she deserves it and I am so very worried.

Can we talk about Han Solo for a minute? I mean, really talk about him, not about #DashingSpaceRogue and the mythos of this franchise?
I look around at forty years of Star Wars in pop culture, about the characterization of Han that’s sold action figures and spawned SNL skits, the version of Han that Ted Cruz has called his life goals, and maybe it’s because I’m a new fan who had never really internalized anything of the Star Wars mythos prior to seeing TFA, but… I feel like I’m speaking a different language about this boy than everyone else who has ever seen the OT, and I can’t figure out why.
Like - I’m looking at Star Wars wiki information right now, and it would like me to know that George Lucas wrote Han as a foil to Luke, as a “selfish” character to Luke’s unfailing selflessness, and I’m reading about how Harrison Ford thought killing Han off in the carbonite would be a resonant story move, because as much as he loved Han, he thought Han was too “thin” of a character to carry forward in the story and mostly saw him as a “chess piece” that facilitated other characters’ stories. I see posts on my dash every single day telling me how Han is an insecure overgrown manchild stuffed full with posturing bravado and not much else, and thank god he was whipped into shape by his hashtag-feminist-goals wife, at least for a little while there - or, alternatingly, how he’s a flippant, arrogant dick who doesn’t give a fuck about the Rebellion, and everything he says can be boiled down to some variant on “sass.” I’ve seen my whole life how everyone who has apparently ever been a Star Wars fan sees Han as some picture-perfect model of everything that’s wrong with patriarchal western ideals of masculinity, and just assumed and went along with that idea, because I didn’t know anything about Star Wars beyond something-something-robots-lightsabers-Luke-I-am-your-father.
I’ve spent months watching all the movies dozens of times now, read the young Han EU trilogy, and done my best to familiarize myself with everything I can about Star Wars… and I feel like I must have lost my ability to interpret stories, because I can’t for the life of me understand where any of this characterization is coming from.
